Im also on the fence between 12 and 15. I plan to foil on sub 10kn. From simple perspective, one would think that a 12m (being lighter) will stay up easier, for foiling one up on the foil the power needed is minimal, my biggest concern for very light wind, is the ability of the kite to stay up in the air and its ease of relaunching in deep water. Not sure the 15M will be "much" better than a 12M. Maybe the 15 is way too much once up on the foil? It would also be cool if they were available... pretty much sold out now and the new Acid Teal color wont be available until late December.

Get the Cloud D 13.4 instead of the Ultra 15 or 12 for foiling and surfboard. I tested both extensively and the Cloud is a significantly faster turning, more low end, fun kite.

Tossing up between the 12 Ultra or 12 Boxer. Has anyone tested both kites, due to location I can't test either in the larger sizes. I'm 80 kgs and it will be used for light wind foiling. Thanks

I have extensive time on both the Ultra and the Boxer. Hands down the Ultra is the better kite. Both are good but the Ultra is better. Turns faster, it is lighter so it climbs faster and construction is better.

Cloud D is a nice kite. I've flown the 9 twice. It is lighter and rises to zenith with less line tension. I think It's neat how deep the cloud will sit in the window without backstall when you sheet far in. It's probably more forgiving of error and more likely to stay dry.

I have an Ultra 9. It flaps a lot less than the Cloud. Less on/off power. I think it generates more pull flying through the window and more pull forward in the window. A lofty jump is more possible with the Ultra compares to Cloud. I can hydrofoil with it in wind where it won't relaunch from shallow water. In this light wind the Ultra may sink to the water if you let it get below 45 degrees in the wind window. Downloop it and get back to zenith before it gets this low in the lightest winds. Clouds and lightweight foil kites have an advantage here. I can't imagine wanting a bigger one unless to ride powered on a surfboard in medium light winds.

For sub 10 I would choose a foil kite. Pulsion or Hyperlink. More power, more upwind, better relaunch and less likely to need it.

The BRM cloud is unobtainium in countries outside the US, or at best not the easiest to buy. Unless BRM change their shipping policy changes and if they are happy with the quantity of kites they are selling, why bother. Hence it not being on my shopping list.

Facebook Cloud Riders group = Cloud Obtanium. Clouds sold daily there. The D Cloud model knocks all heads off.
