I have been using the 2018 Cabrinha Drifter since early July. I have 12/9/7m . The most noticeable change from the previous 2017 model is the faster turning speed. To me, the low end and bar pressure seem similar. The Drifter has excellent upwind performance in offshore setting allowing the kite to fly closer to the edge of the window.
There is new Dacron on the leading edge and some trailing edge battens. I use the Drifter for surf and foil.
I've used Drifters since 2015 and this years model is definitely the best version yet!

Thanks BW. I haven't flown a Cabrinha since 2008 and thinking of giving them a try. I've heard some say that cabrinha's have heavy bar pressure. Is that the case with the Drifters. (like compared to a North Neo in the same size)

The Bar pressure is medium. Great feed back from the kite. I have not used a North EVO so I can't compare. Recent kites I've used, Ocean Rodeo Flite (lighter BP) Slingshot SST Wave (medium BP), Airush Ultra (lighter BP). If you can try to demo a 2018 Drifter , I'm sure you'll be impressed.
