Are you able to see it clearly at speed? Arm angle? Read out large enough?
As xmas is coming and have out grown my older gps am very interested in your and others ideas, thoughts.
Are you pleased over all with your suunto please?
User friendly to down load to see session on computer?

I'm using Suunto Ambit 3 and Android app Moves Scout. It can be a bit fiddly to get wireless the syncing to work if you have several devices paired to to your Android device. Once I got it set up its no problems. Connecting to computer with USB is a no-brainer.

I can see my speed on my wrist easily while riding and I use contact lenses on the water and have age related far sightedness. so if I can read it anybody will be able to.

I did a lot of research before and the Locosys watch is the best GPS watch for speed due to its using doppler shift interpolation to increase speed accuracy of the GPS. But it has only ATM 5 water protection.

Suunto has ATM 10 and the company has long history of making serious diving watches, so they know what they are doing.

I wear the watch everyday all day long. It feels big in the beginning but it's very comfortable and you get used to it quickly. I have rather small arm too.

Locosys GW60 has an easy to read big digit display, precise, and got all relevant speed stats built in as maybe the only watch :thumb:

I use a Polar M600. Cheap and works well and you can configure your readouts and pages for most desired stats. Current speed, max, time, avg, distance etc.

I am using a ghetto old Garmin Forerunner 12. It won't matter when I lose it, easily tracks speed and distance, works with Strava and Relive.cc, and hasn't given me any problems in the last year and a bit. It's a good low end option.

Yes, easy to read at speed. Big display. Just hook it up to computer and it downloads all the tracks, so very easy. I think Ambit2 and Ambit3 are the same thing, but Ambit3 adds bluetooth connectivity to download tracks to your phone with no need to plug it in. Battery lasts for several 2-hour sessions.

I usually export the file to http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/ if I want to map it, because I like it better than the Suunto mapping.

Gps visualizer makes very nice speed colored tracks:
