Curacao Kitesurfing

Postby keegster17 » Wed Dec 20, 2017 3:31 pm

Hi just wondering about Curacao as a kite destination? I have been to Aruba which was nice, the kiting, was not the best, except for Boca Grandi, which was a hike everyday, but good onshore winds, and small area to kite. I love Turks & Caicos, but it is pretty expensive. Thoughts?

Curacao isn't the greatest, Aruba would be better. But you can kite over there. Another option would be Bonaire, considerably better dan Curacao

I agree with above, been there on holiday once. Glad I didn't take my kitegear with me. I have seen no kitesurfing at any of the beaches I have been to (i reckon nearly all). This island is more suitable for snorkling or scuba diving.

Only location where you can kite is st.Joris Baai (http://www.nixkitecuracao.com/contact/)
