F-one Breeze v2 - how does it compare to v1?

Postby fun2kite » Mon Jul 09, 2018 8:18 am

Hi all,

did anybody get Breeze V2 yet? How do you like it and how does it compare to v1?
I have v1 and been using 15M for foiling for the last year. Happy with the kite in general, but it flutter a LOT when depowered.

V2 seem to claim better performance when depowered.
Also seem to now say been designed for low-V (I been using my v1 with low-V Noth click bar already. Seem ok). So I now wonder how much better the kite handles if it was now designed for low-v.

Is it ligher than v1? (new canopy material? or same)

And did the bridle design change at all?

Thanks in advance.

I ordered a 11m, still waiting for it.
I'm also exited about the smaller sizes...

It was weighed by a german dealer with 2.9kg for 13m and 3.4kg for 15m.
I‘m also riding a single strut kite in its 3rd generation and think there is a basic fault in developing them: they are targeted to TT riders as well as to foilers. Will never work. My Kite works really flutter free with TT. But in winds I use the TT, a single strut isn‘t of any help and a 3 strut always superior in terms of range and performance. If a single strut has a good low end - means deep profile - it will be overpowered as soon as you‘re on foil and going. Therefore I use the single strut in 6-9 kts only, all obove is much much better covered by a tripple struter from whatever brand. No relaunch and no staying overhead issue in those winds any more ..
Hope there will be enough demand for a pure foiling single skin model in the future to force the industry to a respective optimisation.

Well said! Owned the Breeze V1 and just ordered A V2 3m (out of curiosity) and agree completely. Also In the wind where the single strut could make the difference a foil kite is better.
