Switch kites in general
+1
Helium kites have also been a huge ++. For their pricing customer service has been exceptional when needed(only 1x so far). Some previous models have been lackluster for performance but great for durability. Now I think they have both for the types of riding I do.

Lecca-Lecca Minima 11m, Delta Hydrofoil race foil, Dakine Vega seat harness, 1.1mm SK99 race line (thought it would do nothing, immediately feels better after switching from stock).
All of those products left me thinking, "Wow! I need to get one!" when I'd come into it thinking they'd be "just okay."

I will say - the one piece of gear that I have fun on every single time out would be the Ocean Rodeo Mako Duke. It's probably not the best board for really critical waves/conditions, but for just sheer fun every session, and most typical conditions, it's a great board. Basically the longboard of my kite gear.

Nomad CC-Wave
According to my wife, its like you glide on the water, feels like you have no board on your feet sometimes, rips up wind with ease, great to play in small waves...

I agree. Give hydrofoil a shot. It's like learning all over again and gives you something to work towards just to be independent again. So rewarding coming out on the other side though.

Plus one for the Nomad CC wave TT it took me 5 years to justify the expense to myself but 5 minutes to know it was worth it. I hardly ride TTs though, and since FOILING came out, now surfboard sessions are mainly foil tack practices (we don't have great waves). Peter Lynn Nova 10m foil kite has been a game changer for foiling, no more Hindenburgs, smooth and steady upwind and gybing in 8-10 knots (when 15m Flysurfers are out). When the wind picks up I have the new 8m Peter Lynn Synergy one strut, these two kites weigh 4kg together, fit in a pillow case (if you feel the need) and will cover 8-28 knots, so a great combo for travelling. I love the Moses 790 front wing, the 633 is great as everyone knows but the 790 is like adding stabilisers - these are all my big stoke items now and it feels like great time for the sport.

My opinion.....Fireball. Best connection system for the average kiter. It does not ride up as far and is smoother. Would not go back. It is strange why more kiters don't use.

I bought a used 13m ozone chrono v2 this summer. First jump and WOW! Hangtime is insane!
I'm also impressed how well it handles. I have had only LEIs and old shitty foil kites, but this is totally different. Made me to love foil kites.
