Clamcleat, how to do?

Postby downunder » Thu Nov 08, 2018 9:05 am

Hi guys,

I've got a couple of unused clamcleats with a missing part in red color, how can I use it for the depower line as per pic? I'm building a new bar...

Any ideas? Custom solutions?

Thanks

D.

Buy them new? Here in Europe they sell around €15.- new so why bother with home made solutions?

But some manufacturers (like F-one) just put some bolts through the 5mm Dyneema depower rope and the cleat. A bit harder to to get right and not easy to adjust the position, but it works.
