Do you guys take the clear coat of your wings and masts by sanding? I do not ride that fast (Slingshot UFO with W800+679) but sometimes when doing 360s or in very choppy ocean I feel the foil is affected a lot by the water conditions and sometimes gurgles, I wonder if going for the "racier" finish (...

The mast plate seems solid, I drilled mine too. The wings have a foam core, going to 8mm might result in you exposing it. Depends on how thick the carbon layer is. Might have to seal it after drilling.

You rate S425 over S400 ? Been wondering if S400 would be looser as no wingtips (kiting with W800, riding a bit of ocean chop).

Has anyone here ridden the S400 and can give some insight how it compares to the others ?

Thanks, problem with moving the mast fwd is that the foil becomes more loose I find (plus I am already at the max for my board), and this foil is already a step up for me. Will try to shim stab a bit to avoid spending more money :-) Using 450 would be the other option, but defeats prob. the purpose ...
