Yes a large flat rockered tt is good of course The nice thing with alaia or tiki is extra long rail grip and ability to move your feet, so the rail bites the water and the board is as flat as possible to glide efortlessly. That sounds right The alpha is great for foiling it is very light and floaty in light wind drifts etc. It has less finesse (lift to drag ratio) but that is not so important for a foil that has great upwind by itself. You May not be able to do things thé way you used too,
You Will have to adapt and accept, maybe need help physio etc.
Make sûre to get the OK from surgeon about bone fusion status before attempting anything, failed fusion can leave you more crippled than before.

Thanks for the feedback i though thé factory made ss bracket was better than m'y tinkered version but it seems like it has ils flanws too. Your bar setup is stick indeed
