Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Yes and no as you change the range or limit of the mixer. Lengthening them moves it to more depower.

Re: Soul lines packing

^^This is the best way. The more lines including bridles you put on the bar the less can tangle. Never disconnect foil kites if you enjoy your time.

Re: Restoring Flight Performance of a Sonic 2 13 Meter

Adding extensions to the bridles is often needed to get a kite flying well again. Like jakemoore said these usually need to be made on Z at the kite towards the tips to help correct for shrink. The mixer will also need quite a lot of altering. The search function here will turn a a wealth of info on...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

When you lengthen B you increase a kites depower but not without changing it's shape or profile. To maintain the same profile you also need to lengthen C and Z at the same ratios of the mixer, so usually 1 of B is then 2 of C and 4 of Z.

Re: Help re-tuning a Sonic 2, am I on the correct path? Bridle/mixer

The back lines being slack is different from the B bridles being slack. You can certainly increase depower by extending B's (the mixer's) range. First is the problem where B remains under tension because of the pulley lines shortening. Second is FS only designs B to become slack at near the window e...

Re: Help re-tuning a Sonic 2, am I on the correct path? Bridle/mixer

feels like it does not depower much. Depower is controlled at the mixer by how far B can extend past A. Measured by standing on your front line at the mixer, then pulling A and B till they stop, then measuring the gap between them. On most FS kites this would be at standard ~25cm ( a simple calcula...

Re: soul pulling to one side

Lines are the usual cause of kites flying to one side. Although front lines would be the main culprit, rears seem to do a bit too. Foil kites can have much more to cause them to go to one side. If you search here you will find this topic has been covered many times with all problems and solutions co...

Re: Ozone Kite water drains

For the drains at the tip to function well they need to open. This requires the velcro to be light or thin enough to open. A small permanent opening will help drain if the velcro won't open like when the flow is small, and it will also help the velcro open. If you don't have an permanent opening in ...
