elguapo come on, the thing isn't literally magical. (Is it?)

What foil do you ride in such a scant breeze? And how much do you weigh?

Re: Where to keep the kite while being eaten by a wave / wave eject

Kite is down and about to be hit by the washing machine but you aren't. This is the most dangerous situation because you are not in the airated water. You can be drowned by being pulled under water in non airated water. A) Small waves. Generally you will not be dragged under water. Make a decision ...

Re: Mystic Majestic vs Mystic Majestic X: differences in fit and comfort

I haven't ridden with both, but I've tried both on and hung my weight into them off a fixed anchor, and then I bought the non-X. To me they felt identical, so the X wasn't worth the extra cash. Maybe I'd have actually felt a difference while riding, but I doubt it.

Re: DIY pulley line replacement

Thanks for the inputs guys. After a second look, the other 3 lines may still be serviceable, but they're getting pretty rough too. So I took the easy option and just bought the full replacement set. Luckily the pulleys are still good. I'll just be more diligent in the future about cleaning the sand ...

DIY pulley line replacement

Recently noticed substantial wear on one of my pulley lines on my Hyperlink. I guess it's a sheathed line, and the sheath is just gone. I can buy a new set of lines from Ozone for $60 -- https://ozonekites.net/proddetail.asp?prod=ozone2017_speed_system_lines_pulley_lines But the other 3 lines still ...

Re: wind proof top for wetsuit recommendations

I’ve used this for years - it is very thin, windproof and durable. https://www.zhik.com/mens-titanium-top.html Def pricey but it will last years and years. Made for laser and skiff sailing in winter and cold water-where you get really wet and are out in stiff breeze ... sounds familiar Do you wear ...

Re: Question for Axis Tray board owner

I really like the deck pad on my Tray 94. Grippy enough for control, but slick enough that I can shuffle my feet around. Reminds me of the Groove pad, only I think a little cushier. I've put about 20 hours on it so far, and it still looks like new.

Re: Which tipe of board to choose

also make sure your gybes are faultless on a standard strapless first. Well, I'd ignore this particular piece of advice about foiling from this particular guy who doesn't foil. I've never kited with a surfboard, don't even surf, jumped straight from TT to hydrofoil, and learned gybes just fine. Wou...
