Re: Kite Lines: which ones are used by the pro?

Good tips, I will start practicing on some loose line and when that goes well ill try upgrading an old bar. I've bought a set of lines before, but I think I just prefer to tinker myself and learn it.

Re: Okay, 10-15knot winging is actually fun!

I’m within my first 50 sessions on a wingfoil. Session 10 was a breakthrough when I certainly stayed upwind and did do you big jibes majority of time. Session 12 was a switch to a -10 sinker and I cursed quite a bit but then flew just fine. Never going back to a + board Session 20 was on brand new ...

Re: Kite Lines: which ones are used by the pro?

Thanks for taking the time, that helps a lot. I've ordered a splicing kit from premium ropes that comes with a length of their line to practice a bit. I understand this is not easy, but I'm pretty patient and good at this kind of stuff so I'll get it right after enough practice. I tend to use very s...

Re: Gong foils: discussion

I've ordered the new aluminium fuselage with longer stab, its not in stock yet. I think it's compatible with both the carbon V2 and alu v2 masts. I have the carbon V2 mast myself.
I just think it's worth a try to make the old one lighter.

Re: Gong foils: discussion

A picture would be great! I'm thinking of just grabbing a carbide bit and at least rounding off the material a lot more maybe make it more of a V shape than a square profile.
It's a shame they don't sell a lighter version of the regular fuse. It would be really easy on a CNC.

Re: Gong foils: discussion

I have a question on the V2 alu stab, am I the only one who things this is unnecessary thick and heavy? The weak point is obviously the connections and I wonder why the rest of the stab is not thinner or cored out or hollow. I have the new stab coming in a few months and I'm thinking of just using a...

Re: Kite Lines: which ones are used by the pro?

I want to start to make my own lines for Peak4 kites. Premiumropes is local to me, are they a good option quality wise to buy thin sk99 or should I order Liros pro instead?

Re: Infexion Max bar / Seatbelt Quick Release

I kept losing the small plastic part that hold the rings together at the end of the depower, so I made a different design that cannot fall off. This one holds the D-ring in between two parts, and the big ring can be fed through and then when assembled you rotate the big ring and click it in place. ...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 5 is here

I ride an 11m when it's 7 to 8 knots, pretty sure I couldn't ride my 8 or 6 that low unless there are gusts.

84kg on 1250cm foil. The 11m is slow, I don't recommend it.
