Hey Sergio, You recommend just forget to attach the stab. I have a question about the leverage force created by removing the stab on the fuselage bolts: I have Onda, so what happens to the forces applied to the screws that hold fuselage to the mast? what happens to the inserts?. I understand that t...

Re: Hydrofoil Videos

Yes - how it performs will decide if it lives or dies. This was Ivan Van Vuuren back in 2007 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qx3bndp2soI and earlier this year. https://www.facebook.com/SignatureFoils/posts/198135950970169 Tony Logosz has also experimented with a kitewing. https://www.seabreeze.com.au...

Re: Hydrofoil Videos

The application is for those who want to ride with wave power and have the kite flagged out, but can use the kite to get back out to catch the next wave. You see plenty of videos of guys on small SUPfoils riding waves for 1km, but no videos of them paddling back out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F...

The vortex is shooting backwards!? Wow
No. The vortex trail is left behind by the wing tips, but as Tone said, the vortex is invisible until the air enters it when the wingtip breaches the surface. Then the air shoots backwards along the invisible vortex, making it visible.

Another way to look at it. The air at the surface of the water is actually under a high pressure, of 14.7 lbs/ sq inch. The surface of the water is at that same high pressure. The centre of the vortex is at lower pressure than the water around it, because the water is spinning and being thrown away ...
