Re: Considering a switch to foil kites

Imo its the trapped air inside that making difference /handling and drift/. Kite weight alone can be "good enough"
There will be imo very little difference after some point /i.e. 1,5 kg vs 0,5 kg/. Think how heavy tubes are and its not such handling problem. Only real problem is static hang.

I dont live by the ocean unfortunately, but we have nice mountains here so i spend my time mostly there as traveling is more problematic. So we are locked in mountains without kites... I must admit and its quite sad - i experience some of my most spiritual moment now in corona lock down... It is lik...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

23-29 is 3m Peak territory /even nonexistent 2.5m/. You not seen best Peak can offer yet. Agree SB riding is not best - and probably downwinder only will be really enjoyable.

Re: Foil Gybe Advice

Im mean it seriously. And see it often unfortunately. People are trying to foil with a/ waaay too bad kite flying skills, b/ waaaay too bad board riding skills. HF riding is quite a bit more advanced than TT riding and demands some skill set. Be able to gybe on TT is pretty basic skill. I dont feel ...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Limitation is low wind speed vs your board speed direct downwind. Its not kite limitation its condition limitation. Thats why Peaks strongest feature doesnt matter much in very low wind
