Re: Pocketboard question

Hi Tom, Do you think the pocketboards are a trend or the new way for Freeride foiling? I think it is a "trend"to go really short to 88-90cm. For now. But a 105-110 board is so much more forgiving, with 90% of the benefits of going shorter. So i believe people will settle into 105-110. As a strong i...

Re: How to build a pocket foil board?

Mate, there are a couple of threads where people show how they made DYI pocket boards. I suggest starting by reading those. And most would only use polystyrene (EPS) for boards with a lot of volume. Most use a 60 or 80 kg/m^3 closed cell pcv foam... Thanks for the Tip of pvc foam! I tried to find t...

Re: Foil board advice

What size and weight board are you on at the moment? And do you often go out in conditions that are so light that you struggle to get up and flying on the 633? I actually ride a 140 x 40 cm board, with very big volume. And I dont ride with so light conditions you mention. So my question is... wich ...

Thanks to All for this interesting info. Considering it, I am thinking in a board Between 110 and 125 cm long ¿is it really similar or is it better near 125 cm? Only freeride, not for jumping What size and weight board are you on at the moment? And do you often go out in conditions that are so ligh...

Re: Which tipe of board to choose

Hi Jose, I spent a year learning on the 550. It was very challenging. Then I got 590, a little better. Then I got the 633 and 483 stab. Its a huge difference, you should go for that if its available easily in your region. Keep your kite fuselage, you might go back later to a smaller wing. After 3 y...
