Re: How long is your drive to the Kiting Spot, how long is your Session, how exhausted are you after the session

1. For NNE to SSW winds, around 20 min drive. For S to SE 40 min drive... For NEE to SEE winds 2 hour drive. I hate eastern winds. 2. 1-4 hours usually daylight is the limiting factor. 3. Especially after a looping session my core is completely wrecked. I try not to laugh the next day because it hur...

Re: Spot advice Leucate to Narbonne-area

I was there last summer, amazing place! Hands down the best spot to go to is Les Dosses which has insanely strong winds and quite often you can see the French pro's (Val garat, Nicolas Gambier, Clement Huot, etc. ) tear up the spot. Another good spot is near La Palme (42°58'16.0"N 3°01'05.8"E), whic...

Re: Standard crazyfly raptor Vs raptor extreme, real life reviews?

I have the 2020 regular raptor (135x41) and I'm very pleased with it. I ride pretty hard (weigh relatively little though) and it's holding up fine. What I like most about the board is how explosive the takeoff can be due to how nimble and light it is. I've ridden it back to back with a regular Allro...

Re: whistling TT ?!

My money is on the fins. A mate sheared off one of his fins a while ago, so I gave him one of my old CF fins. Sure enough, his board started whistling like a songbird.

Have you tried e-mailing their customer support? They're usually extremely helpful and friendly.

Re: Manera Magma Gloves vs Mystic Supreme Gloves

Did you suffer with hand cramping with those mystic supreme at all? None whatsoever, they're precurved so you can pretty much just hold your bar with your fingers in a neutral position. Last season I used 5mm Mystic Supreme gloves and while they were okayish warmth wise, the durability was abysmal ...

Manera Magma Gloves vs Mystic Supreme Gloves

Last season I used 5mm Mystic Supreme gloves and while they were okayish warmth wise, the durability was abysmal and I had to throw them away after maybe 20 sessions. So now I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with Manera's Magma gloves and especially how they compare to the Supreme glov...

Fuuuck yessssss!

Has anyone flown their pivot on the "new" bridle setting yet? If so, please tell me how it changes the characteristics of the kite. I imagine it turns faster, but it probably doesn't catch you as well as it normally does.

Re: What's the best twin tip for chop that is good for knees ?

I've ridden the Shotgun (can't remember what size) and it was very comfortable in the dreadful North Sea chop. It's ridiculously expensive though imo.

If you're interested, check out the Crazyfly raptor. Much more affordable and is very comfortable as well, the smaller sizes boost like cannons too.
