Gestalt, What foil setup are you using? I am surprised that you are having backstall issues with the 12. If you are not expert at tuning the kite, I would ask an expert to look at it. A lot of foil kites are unfortunately not tuned properly coming from the factory. What do you mean by "foil" setup?...

Looks like Aluula "Duralyte", "Graflyte" and "Aeries" can be welded.....but not Aluula "Gold"!?
