Re: North launches all-new Code Zero Performance Foil Kite

Don't forget though that kite design is all about compromise. If you really want light weight then you need to look at something without bladders - like the flysurfer peak. Want a bit more performance and the lightweight double skin kites like the Hyperlink 3 come into play. Aluula is an innovative...

Re: North launches all-new Code Zero Performance Foil Kite

Hi Everyone. I only have a 7m production kite here. It currently weighs about 1.8kg (My lines are still attached and there is a bit of sand in the kite in the picture). I think it was 1.75kg when it was new out of the bag. Code Zero 7m weight.jpeg -- Gunnar Just for a reference this is the same wei...

Re: Do kites stay at the same pressure after hours?

If you consider normal having pinholes in the bladders, then yeah - it's normal...

And no age has nothing to do with it... If you let enough sand go in the first time you inflate a kite, the second time it's being inflated could make a pinhole.

Re: Cabrinha 2020 bar broken main line

Could it be that sand has been allowed to accumulate in the tubing and the rubbing has caused the fraying and break? What came out when you cut the black tubing? There was no sand inside... The tubing has separate chambers for the main line, and for the safety line. Also, the main line is fixed bet...

Re: Cabrinha 2020 bar broken main line

mmm, that is just one length of line, a clever way of producing all the sewn loops, no splicing skills required, cheap to make out of what looks like 3mm dyneema, why the wear and snap has happened is not clear. Ozone power line was made in the same style again hidden inside the pu tube cover, alth...

I can not understand what is the purpose of splitting the line in 2? Isn't th...

It’s a very smooth ride, I have 50 year old knees so that’s important. Absolutely no nosediving due to the bit of rocker it has. No spray as well which is a nice change from my old 146 which was like a shower.

Footstraps are great too. Highly recommend.
Which model\year King Gee was that?
