Re: Why is wingfoiling so popular?

Ever heard the phrase "Don't YUCK my YUM?" Understanding the passion and excitement that SO many new WINGERS have for their new toys. I always feel too much like I'm having a conversation with the Mormon missionaries or a Jehovah's Witness' determined to help me find Jesus and be immediately baptis...

Re: Sorry, your used gear is worth nada

Interesting Thread, Indeed seems like the USED kite market has slowed to the pace of a frozen turtle's heartbeat - hard to pinpoint exactly, but I welcome the WINGERS the more the better space opening up all over the river now. Also notable that iKitesurf classifieds are GONE - bought and sold many ...

Re: Do you need Aluula Kites?

I'm here to learn about any defects that are out there - no experience with Duotone or the DLABS My quiver is Ocean Rodeo A Series - thankfully have NO PROBLEMS with any kites thus far - time will tell. Appreciate the data from primary sources like repair shops or others who have 1st hand informatio...

Re: Do you need Aluula Kites?

Tried all evo dlabs between 8-13 meter. Buy myself dlab only from 11 above. Under i think only make sense for the kitelooper. Expect more qualityproblems with your aluulas Expect quality problems based on WHAT exactly? You sound like AI spam... HOW MANY TOTAL DAYS have YOU kited on an Aluula kite? ...

Re: Do you need Aluula Kites?

LOL - copying my YouTube comment here: Your premise is Faulty - the brands just say that to make people feel good about buying an old Dacron kite. In reality everyone would be better off with Aluula it’s not even close and they are NOT harder to fly quite the opposite. They hold their shape, glide t...

Re: Dacron and Aluula Performance in cold temperatures

Hey Zig, Pretty sure Aluula is fine in the cold but I am not - so can only tell you mine prefer the garage in winter. Would be cool tho if the Aluula turned BLUE sub 32 Bluula - would make a cool snow kite feature, like the COORS cans. There are probably many reasons to try then buy an aluula kite n...

Re: Foil Board

And I love the “I’m doing this for light-winds” comment. Once you start foiling it quickly takes over! Might as well sell those TT and big kites now. Hahaha! Kind of like saying I'm only gonna smoke crack on the weekends He says taking a long breath - chasing the dragon... My journey is just starti...

Re: Brand Spanking new to the sport!

Welcome! The STOKE is REAL Best advice start with lessons and use their gear . Maybe buy a harness & wetsuit to start then you can figure out what you'll need post lesson mode for your area. It's gonna get COLD quick in NJ so maybe a winter trip to a KITE friendly spot? Turks & Caicos Islands is gre...
