So I went out again today and did not see a way to remove the y completely. I could unscrew the pinch clamp, but then one side of the clamp would just be loosely dangling on a center line. The pivot fly very poorly on the Click Bar. I tried it for 3 days mostly with the 10 2017 and it was really a different kite vs the naish bar. Wouldn't recommend. I'd dispute this.
