Re: Pads/straps for Duotone Jaime 2020?

I have ridden a lot of pads and Entity's hands down are one of the best (support, comfort, control) pads I have tried. They have issues and ppl are posting them here, although my wife and me, we never experienced any with 2017/2019/2020 year editions.
As for Jamie - it's amazing board ;)

Re: any signs yet of Ion or Duotone gear being available in the uk?

2 weeks ago I tried to order Mystic Vollt (6/5/4 Hooded) Wetsuit. Local dealer told me that it will be out in market only on June.

Re: New set: XR/GTS or Rebel/Dice

Cool. Had it all lined up with 3xOrbits myself before SA shut down. Could I ask where you got them from? Local guys. Very aggressive guys in terms of riding and pushing new products into the market (marketing, PR, pricing, etc.). Last summer they took over with North most of the best riders and sch...

Re: New set: XR/GTS or Rebel/Dice

Well, the XR is more playful than the Rebel, more like an Evo but closer to the Rebel in jumping. For the GTS, this is the allaround kite for unhook. Don’t forget to test in freestyle mode on the front bridle. I ride Nexus, Dices before and in freestyle mode on the front bridle they are very simila...

Re: New set: XR/GTS or Rebel/Dice

Actually, I pulled a trigger on North. 13-11 Reach's and 10-8-6 Orbit's + boards +accessories. Could not get a good price on Core and Duotone seller was not responsive. So back to North after 5 years :) Very excited to start new season with new toys. Yo Kerplow! Interested to hear your experience w...

By the way. I'm no expert on Core, but I guess the XR7 might be released within the next 6 months?
Yes they are planning.

North Reach and F-One Bandits are pretty solid do it all kites
Yes Evo is in the same category, but he clearly wants allrounder with Vegas feel, so Dice/Pulse would be best for him.

Re: Moving from a vegas to a better allrounder

Go with Dice. Will have a similar feel as Vegas, but with much more versatility. Evo, Rebel wont have the same "vegas'y taste".

Re: How long is your drive to the Kiting Spot, how long is your Session, how exhausted are you after the session

As I have a caravan near the coast, it is a weekend trip for me. If a look 5 years back, I barely missed a weekend during 4-5 months of kite season. 1. 4 Hours driving one way (350km) 2. Depends on conditions, but on average 2 to 5 hours per day. 3. Nice evenings with a sip of rum near the campfire ...
