Re: Core XR7

Does anyone rock 9/11 ? Leaning towards this instead of 8/10//12. I have a quiver of 11-9-7 Xr7s. I use the 11m between 14/22 knots and the 9m as from 20/30 knots and the 7m when its blowing consistently in high 20s. Did consider the 11/8 but in the end decided not to go for it as i thought the hig...

Re: Kite size (9 or 8)

If you only have 2 kites you really don't want a 7. Even 8 is usually for lighter weight riders, 3-kite sets, or those who regularly kite in places with very strong winds (assuming TT of course). +1 for the above! depends a lot if you get strong winds at your location since 8 meter could start feel...

Re: Porsche sponsor of the KOTA (and Duotone collaboration)

I think its a cool collaboration - not a bad way to promote their electric car range! I dont think they are targeting the kiters as potential buyers for their cars (although kiting is a pretty expensive sport) but pro-kiters do have an increasing presence/following on social media and makes sense to...

Re: Core Fusion 5

Any members already riding the core fusion 5 who can give a real life review on this board? Dont think Janek's performance on this board can be considered to be a realistic representation of its capabilities. :D Finally got my Fusion 5 137X41 after 3 months. My weight 75kg. It's a great mixture bet...

Re: Tesla model 3

The bootspace is perfectly suitable for transporting kiting equipment imo. I often go with a buddy and can easily fit 2 twintips + 2-3 kites + 2 harnesses + 2 wetsuits etc. You just need to fold one of the back seats and can easily load up your twintips. Plus you can charge your car at most of the k...

Re: Kite type for gusty weather

+1 for XRs, coming from a 3 strut kite, especially seen a huge difference on stronger days with my smallest kite (7m on 30+ knot days).
