Re: Pocketboard question

Sad to read that our passion took an other life. I can see that there are benefits in riding with or without straps. The intresting thing to see is what brings the best out of foiling today? Riding with or without straps Rinding with three or two straps Rinding with front straps only Riding small ki...

Re: Pocketboard question

50/50 I think, strapped/strapless, maybe even a bit more with straps. We had a poll that showed this. I was quite amazed, as it seemed like by far most (me included) ride strapless, but not so. Especially odd that non-racers non-jumpers use straps? I dont understand this, honestly  8) Peter W...

Re: Pocketboard question

Great article Purdyd! I think you are right, but switching from a good setup with a kitefoil you can go in less wind than with a Wingfoil setup. One of the reasons that I started foiling with a kite is getting more fun is less wind. Switching back to a wing would make in my opinion not much sens, bu...

Re: Pocketboard question

Location is Holland and here there is a difference where you go. Some beaches there are none and others there are many.

From my point of view Wing foiling is something different, but will be a go fore some.

Re: Pocketboard question

Thank you for all for the great input. I guess I will go for the 110cm Dwarfcraft instead of the 100cm.

I am still wondering how big the Hydrofoil sport will be in kiting? I guess it is just a small group at this point, but maybe I am wrong.

Re: Pocketboard question

Hello Rob, Thank you for your extensive answer. This helps me a lot. The level is now just up and down with a jibe now and than. The future level should be Fred Hope, but realistic speaking just having fun is enough. I would like to buy the dwarf with the new 633 wing and mast, because I would only ...
