Re: Size Recommendation for Core Fusion

Gotta disagree sorry - I used the calculator and it says in ideal winds of 25mph I should have a 12m and a 168cm board What is your weight? You're probably not using it correctly. There are (4) different board sizes to look at in the calculator - Beginner, Light Wind, Normal Wind, and High Wind. Ch...

Re: Size Recommendation for Core Fusion

The 133 is going to be for groms and light women. I would put you on the 139 in moderate winds. If you're riding completely lit all the time you can downsize, but 133 is too small for your weight IMHO. This calculator tends to be fairly accurate. You may want to subtract 5KG or so. Much more accurat...

Deceptive advertising is a crime; you're putting your retailers at risk, so please be careful. A fully transparent OEM would rectify this situation. It wouldn't take much effort to wordsmith the current ads into something factual. https://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/guidance/advertising-...

Re: Pads/straps for Duotone Jaime 2020?

Thanks alot. Great to know that other pads will fit the Jaime as well. Do you know of any pads which can be properly adjusted to fit both barefoot as well as winter boots? I've read that the Apex should be too small for fitting boots? All 3 pads mentioned above (Carved Ultra, North Flex, and Naish ...

Re: Imperfections Carbon Mast

Project Cedrus is the only hollow carbon mast on the market. I respect and appreciate your enthusiasm, as I am also an Engineer, but you'd sell more product with full transparency and / or better market research: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32873647072.html https://www.f-one.world/product/carbo...

Re: Pads/straps for Duotone Jaime 2020?

The Jaime has the track mounting system - which is really nice. This mounting system will accommodate just about any footstrap in the industry - even the non-standard pads from Carved and Core with the 6.5" bolt spacing. I like to put Carved Ultra pads on my Duotone boards with the track mounts. Not...

Re: Imperfections Carbon Mast

If you whack bottom hard with a carbon mast, you can break them. I know this because I have broken 2 carbon masts and have the pics. I've never broken an aluminum mast - which is cheaper in cost but heavier in weight. Trade-offs.

Re: Imperfections Carbon Mast

Trade-offs as with everything else in kiting. Yes, you can often spot imperfections right out of the box with carbon. It's also more brittle in cold weather (I've snapped 2 masts hitting bottom), but it's also lighter.
