Duotone Neo safety line question

Had my new 2019 12 Neo out for the first time today. Blown away by how good it is in my twin tip just free riding. However looking up at the lines, the centre safety line has a lot of slack in it. I’ve never owned a kite that flies on such a high V split in the lines so I’m not sure if this is corre...

Re: GKA Kite World Cup Mauritius - Day Four Freestyle Finals

So a world sporting event with no coverage? Makes no sense.

Re: GKA Kite World Cup Mauritius - Day Four Freestyle Finals

Is there anyway to actually watch this? I find the short video clips rather annoying to be honest. If someone is going to video the action, why can't they just video all the action (unless I'm missing something?).

Re: 13m 3 Strut for Foiling & Twin Tip Free Riding?

I’m 105kg and have recently got into foiling. My biggest kite is now a 12m Ozone Alpha and I can get going in 10-12 knots on that. Never flown a Contra and I’ve only had a big 17 Turbine for twin tipping but I sold my 12m and 14m Rally and the big turbine as they are just too heavy in the lulls and ...

Re: Ozone Alpha V1 - First Session

I wouldn’t say it was rubbish on a twin tip, I had a great day on it super easy to fly and stable. Think I’m just used to my Slingshot Rally’s which pull like a truck.

Re: Ozone Alpha V1 - First Session

Had another session on my 12m Alpha yesterday. Much more success getting upwind but there was a definite breeze but hard to judge wind speed. Think I just need to work on my technique, been spoilt by my Slingshot Rally’s which just drag you upwind with little effort.

Re: When will i relax and enjoy my foiling?

I think using your trim strap more is something to consider. When I’m on my twin tip I rarely touch it and just ride through gusts or lulls. Since I started foiling (maybe 16-18 sessions now) I find I’m adjusting the trim more often. Also bearing away in a lull can help. I know I was trying too hard...

Re: Ozone Alpha V1 - First Session

Had a few sessions on my 12m Alpha. Amazing on the foil but struggling to get upwind with it on my twin tip unless the winds really picks up. Very stable and jumps really well but slightly concerned about the upwind performance on the twin tip. Maybe it’s the warm Egyptian wind compared to UK :D Simon

Re: Shinn K foil

Definitely the K not the Mega K?

The new K2 looks good, but it’s not cheap.

Shinn K foil

Want a cheap upgrade to my Shinn set up. Can I upgrade my P foil to the K foil but keep the ST3 rear stabiliser or will that need changing as well?

Cheers
Simon
