Re: Jaime sls/textreme vs Lieuwe Shotgun

I own both and ride the Jaime when the water is flatter. I cannot stand how much spray it has compared to the Lieuwe. It is lighter, however.

Re: Core XR7

Is anybody using their XRs with a different bar than the Core bar? Already for a while I really like the kite, I just cannot stand the bar (also not the new one). Last week I saw a guy who was using an Ozone bar (without split modification) with his XR and when we chatted a bit about it, he mention...

Re: Beginner Question: How to prevent water in nose during body dragging?

I don’t think this is a kiting issue. This sounds like a general how-to-be-in-the-water issue. Exhale through your nose and inhale through your mouth when appropriate.

Re: Manera Harness sizing

I have a Manera Eclipse in Medium and find that it is pretty close to other brands in sizing. FWIW, I didn’t really like my Manera. It has some rigid plastic points where the waist straps connect. I took a crash and these blew my ribs apart. I bought a Mystic Stealth and it absolutely blows it away ...

Re: Core Kite - Duotone Bar - Compatibility issues

no depower and bar all way in... also if no wind, try equal lines test - with bar all way in and no depower/trim, all 4 lines should be equally tensioned.. I'll double check. My bars have been through the war, so I pulled the trigger a new Core bar today. It was a premature replacement, but I figur...

Re: Core Kite - Duotone Bar - Compatibility issues

it sounds like your steering lines are too long... see if you can adjust them.. when you fly your 12m in say 9kts find the point of trim when the kite starts back stalling from 12 o'clock - that's your bar zero. I have flown duotone trust bar with 7,9,12 core XRs (XR4,XR5) and it works great... I d...

Core Kite - Duotone Bar - Compatibility issues

Maybe someone can lend some insight as to the compatibility between these brands’ kites and bars. I have always had Duotone gear but recently pulled the trigger on a Core XR7. I read about the Duotone bars’ compatibility and it seemed like the ‘Y’ position stays the same and no issues should arise. ...

Some people complain slow turning but wtf who cares if you are lit.
Waiting for the 7s! Just because I can :)
Have you played with the settings at all to try and help it speed up? I am short days into mine and it definitely is sloooow. If so, do you have a favorite combo? Thanks.

Re: Core XR7

So, I have a 12m XR7 that I have ridden for two solid days. My early impressions are that it is a bit slow with the factory settings. I adjusted things and that helped a bit. So far, between the new Rebel and XR7, I prefer the Rebel. Also, my XR7 came to me with every single tube connection in need ...

Re: 13m Evo vs Juice

If you’ve got the money to spend, why not the Evo SLS? That seems like the best choice.
