Re: Carved Imperator 7 vs 2023 Duotone Jamie SLS

Which makes me think I will want to get the Jamie over the Impe. I'm not strictly trying to send big airs and like to play in the surf and do freestyle as much or more than just straight sends. Did you get the 2023 Jamie SLS? Is it a good free ride board? Playful, can skate around on it, etc.? I ha...

Re: Brand comparisons for trainer kite for children

My daughter had a lot of success on the 5.5 hybrid in 2023. Extremely easy and forgiving kite to fly with no massive power surge. In 10-11 knots she was underpowered on the 5.5m (35kg / 80 lbs). She was having to dive the kite extremely hard to get enough pull for water starts. I ended up buying a 7...

Re: Another quality and safety issue: Ride Engine

Hard for me to understand that picture, but a leash attachment point should be able to handle extreme pull, not just moderate pull. That is my expectation anyway. The conditions described by the OP seem mild. Is this for sure an attachment point intended for a leash? If so, were there other contribu...

Just sounds so unlikely a mfg would respond in that manner….seemingly illogical

No pics?

Re: Duotone jaime sls 139 or 142

Thanks you for help, I took the 139, I ride the foil mostly up to 16 knots Would love to hear how you like it?? I’m in a similar struggle. I’m 187 cm and 93kg on the bathroom scale Currently riding a SLINGSHOT misfit in 147cm. I have a 9/12/15m quiver that keeps me on the water from 12+ knots to gu...

Re: Dreamstick x reviews?

So forgive my ignorance, but the bars mentioned have a functioning auto untwist? You don’t have to constantly untwist your centerlines after any loop or rotation?

I didn’t know this existed!

Re: Aluula 3 strut - Evo vs NVision vs Hypermodel

Couple things on the 15m juice Dlab or similar The big difference is the smaller diameter leading edge and overall weight, which allow you to move it a lot more. Down loops all day, signing it to get moving, looping it to water start, etc. it also makes power climbing not just diving. As for durabil...

Re: Jesse Richman joins Ozone kites !

Whoa interesting move

I’m a fan of JR’s riding, especially the medium sized strapped directional riding he does. I love the toe side back flips off the lip, etc. charging!
