Re: Naish 2018 and 2019 interchangeable? or not.

I've got it to fit now. Ground down a little more. I did contact Naish and they told me I could grind down and if I still wasn't satisfied they would hook me up. But I'm fine with it. I probably ruined the resale value, but I just want it to work so I can head out later this week.

Naish 2018 and 2019 interchangeable? or not.

This past winter I started picking up some end of year used gear. I bought the 2018 Naish 90cm mast, 2018 KS1 front and back wing, 2018 fuselage, and 2018 mast plate. After reading a bit more I ordered a 2019 55cm mast and the 2018 WS-1 front wing because it would be better for slow speed learning. ...

Safety flag out line conflicts with gopro?

I've gotten comfy with my new Ozone Hyperlink 12m and want to add my gopro to the lines next time out. But I have a question that I should probably know already since I've been kiting since 2005. The best way to land a foil in pumping conditions, without an assistant, is the flag out line safety rel...

Re: Ozone Hyperlink V2 - The Most Versatile Foil Kite On The Market
Self land using the flag out line/safety line, but make sure thats the bottom line when you release. The method shown in the video definitely has the potential to damage the Hyperlink V2.
Thank you Ozone for giving some input. What exactly makes the Hyperlink different than the kit...

Re: Ozone Hyperlink V2 - The Most Versatile Foil Kite On The Market

I took my new HL V1 12 meter out today for the first time. Been LEI since 2005. So take this with a grain of salt, first time foil kiter, but I am selling everything else. I bought the V1 7m this evening on closeout. Coming straight from an LEI, I felt this was almost exactly the same feel as my Swi...

Re: Ozone Hyperlink V2

I know this is a V2 forum. But I took my V1 12m out for the first time today. First ever foil kite. OK fellas, your secret is out. I'm telling everyone. These kites are CRAZY. 12m in 12 to 19 mph winds and the boosting and hang time is ridiculous. I'm selling the rest of my LEI kites. I already orde...

Re: Self launch and self land option

I went out on my new Ozone Hyperlink 12m today in 12 to 19 mph winds. Launching fine. The wingtips collapsed but I flew it in a few figure eights until it inflated and the bridles straightened themselves out. These foils are amazing. I'm selling all my LEI. Crazy hang time, lofty jumps. But I need t...

Re: Self launch and self land option

I saw in another video that he stakes that pvc grappling hook to the beach, 3 meters away. He also has another cool idea.....an wind sock that funnels air into the kite to preinflate it. Amazing little tricks.

Re: Self launch and self land option

It's from a Brazilian sailor and he lands the kite at around 2:30 in the video, using an anchor made from PVC tubing to catch the bridal lines. https://youtu.be/VEqbnhemh3g What do you think? Thanks for this video. It's an interesting idea. An invisible assistant on the beach. You'd have to make su...
