Re: Naish 2020 foil: Performance freeride 600 vs freemove foil jet 1050

I bought a used Naish KS1 wing last winter but then I read more info that said bigger was better. I bought the WS1 wing 1220 cm, but kept the same rear wing. It's been tough to dedicate the time to learn. I only get out once every two weeks, so the last thing I want to do is crash and burn for 3 hou...

Not a single reply? Doesn't anyone ride Naish equipment?

Re: Soul - landing with help

I've only had my Hyperlink 9 for 3 months. Using the flag out line resulted in too many knots in the bridle. So I made a pvc hook like the video, but haven't tried it yet. I did the backstall landing successfully for the first time on last week. I'm not sure if I would do it when the wind is howling.

Re: Cheap kites to complete Hyperlink V1 7m and 12m quiver

I wouldn't be using the 18 to hydro foil. I'd be using to extend my wind range on my twin tip. My HL 12 gets me out in about 12 mph wind, but anything less is a waste of time. I'm not experienced enough to switch the hydro foil yet, in winds under 12. You guys make it look so easy in the videos, but...

But what about the other end? A Chrono 18 is expensive. Any thoughts?

I forgot to also mention the Flysurfer Peak 4. I was watching this video with A LOT of interest. And it's not too expensive.

Cheap kites to complete Hyperlink V1 7m and 12m quiver

This spring I stumbled on the thread for the Hyperlink V2. Impressed, I bought the 12m V1 on closeout (cheaper). Impressed even more after some use I bought a 7m V1 Hyperlink on closeout. Love the kites. I have a 2017 Cabrinha Switchblade 14 that I will likely sell in the next few weeks. I am perman...

Re: kite for 7-12 knots?

You foil boarding guys are killing me. The winds in New York have been crappy all summer. Hot and humid, no wind. Dam climate change. It used to get windy by 3pm and blow till 7pm. Not anymore. I have to wait for fall cold fronts to switch winds to steady northwest 15 to 20, then I'll have time to p...

Re: kite for 7-12 knots?

This spring I bought my first foil kite.... a 2018 closeout Ozone HyperlinkV1 12. I absolutely fell in love with it for my twin tip free riding. I'll try foil boarding this fall when the wind is more consistent. But I love that foil, so I ran out and grabbed a 7 meter. I've since sold me LEI 14 Waro...

Re: Naish 2018 and 2019 interchangeable? or not.

I've got it to fit now. Ground down a little more. I did contact Naish and they told me I could grind down and if I still wasn't satisfied they would hook me up. But I'm fine with it. I probably ruined the resale value, but I just want it to work so I can head out later this week.
