Re: Question for Ozone Reo owners.

I've been using Ozone since 2007. A set of Light II's, Set of 2010 C4's and more recently 2012/2013 6,8,10 & 12 Reo's. I have noticed that they all did seem to pinhole quite easily opposite the inflation valve. On all of my Reo's from new I have glued and sewn patches where I know they will pinhole....

Re: rebel vs ozone reo 2 kite set

I agree with Slyde, I have 6, 8, 10m Reo's purely for waves, and weigh around 78 kg. Love them. I am sometimes thinking that the 12m Reo would be useful, especially if the wind is a bit too on-shore. The 10m Reo deffo seems smaller than some other 10m kites. I am still using my 2008 Ozone 12 m Light...

Re: good kite for one-handed steering ?

I am a mere kid at 54 but also prefer light bar pressure. Only do waves with surfboard these days. I would also recommend the C4. All my kites (2010 - 5,7,9m) I can steer using a finger each side of the throw line. I also use a dakine Renegade harness with a dakine strap which allows the spreader ba...

Re: Nasal Congestion

I can relate to this. I've been suffering almost constantly for 2 years now. I had endoscopic sinus surgery last year, made no difference apart from I can now breath through both nostrils. Also tried nasal irrigation - this just gives me a blinding headache and sometimes earache. Also had numerous c...

Waves/Teneriffe

Thinking of a short break early March. Can anyone tell me - where are the decent kiteable wave spots in Teneriffe? Been kiting 8+ yrs, past 3 pretty much waves only so not too worried about sketchy launches/gusty winds etc. I've searched this forum, couldn't find anything apart from El Medano beach ...

Re: Which kites boost & wave ride?

Another vote for the Ozone C4. I have 5,7 and 9m 2010 C4's and only do waves with surfboard these days. The 9m I always use with 20m lines, and at 75kg, I find it ok as my biggest kite most of the time as long as the wind isn't too on-shore. I did try the catalyst which was Ozones wave kite (before ...

Ozone Reo vs C4

I was wondering if anyone could advise: I have a quiver of 5, 7 and 9m 2010 C4's, and a well used 2008 12m light II I am only interested in wave riding with surfboards, and find the C4's great for this. I did own a 2010 10m Catalyst but sold it in preference to the C4's I also owned a 2010 10m C4 wh...

Re: Fuel VS C4

If it helps: I love my C4's in the waves, best I tried yet. I tried the Catalyst but prefer C4. I have 2010 - 5, 7, and 9m C4's I weigh 75 KG, and only use surfboards. Normally a 5'10 surfboard or sometimes a 5'4 Underground Freewave for blasting. I always use the 9m on 20m lines. 9 goes from about ...
