Re: GoPro kite Hero Line Mount

My experience, take care of GoPro line mount, if one of the back lines gets trapped by the camera then you will have big problems. This can happen when you rotate or if the kite falls down into water, worst into waves. Sorry to say but I think the line mount should be banned unless the camera is ins...

Re: Safety issue on Gaastra 2009 bar

Hi, First of all: did he or anyone else touch the safety? (with something else other than hands, like with a screwdriver) There's a screw in the middle of the safety (you can see it next to the red-arrow on the picture you posted), if he has replaced his de-powercord ever, or maybe just opened the ...

Safety issue on Gaastra 2009 bar

Please don’t start an argument, this post is a serious warning to inform of a possible safety lack. I'm not a Gaastra user, last Sunday a friend of mine tested a Jekyll kite and when he came back to the beach we had a look to the QR system and we couldn't open it. Another friend with big and strong...

The central angle of the 8mm hook support (the red part) has been modified and now has a small "bay" where th...

Re: Sliding Spreader Bar

Is there a weight limit (of the kiter) recommended for the use of this bar? The bar is in 6mm/8mm steel and its shape is studied to be a bit flexy and avoid streess on specific areas. It starts bending a bit by lifting >250Kg. The sliding hook is completely free and it has no stress at all. Maybe w...

I mean the kiter was expecting no differences by using a normal hook and a sliding hook, many wanted the possi...

A picture would be appreciated.
The sail version attached to bar pad + the buckle in the wind-kite surf version.
