Out of interest, how did you rinse it? Under a running tap or into a bowl of water? I assume gentle rinse in a bowl of water would be less likely to breach any seals?
Gentle poor of freshwater either from the tap in my campervan or just from a bottle, either way very low pressure.

Every time I get mine wet it seems to be slightly blocked the next day. I need to force it a bit, but then it works fine after. -- Gunnar Make sure you rinse in in fresh water after you use it. Better to rinse it before you f...

U.Go line mount on Slingshot lines

Is anyone using the U.Go line mount on Slingshot lines with the standard U.Go locking rod? I’ve had a quick measure of the Slingshot centre lines and they seem thicker than 2mm on one side, and the locking rod seems very tight. I know the whole point of the locking rod is that it “locks” but it seem...

Re: Which bar for petite person / shorter arms

Slingshot offer a smaller chicken loop and with the Sentinel bar you can adjust the location of the cleat. I’ve done this on my girlfriend’s bar so the cleat is closer to the bar.

Re: Ride Engine Size

I would say Medium with 10” bar but I’m in agreement with everyone that for the RE harnesses it is really important to get the right fit.

Re: Slingshot Screamer / Swallow Sizing

I have the Angry Swallow in 5’4 and I’m 6’2 (188cm) and around 94kgs. Due to the width and volume I wouldn’t suggest going for the 5’6. I also use a 5’8 Celeritas and a custom 6’2 board. I’d add 6” to 8” if the Swallow had a full nose.

Advice on Slingshot SST sizing

I'm looking at the Slingshot SST for my new quiver but I'm a bit confused on the sizes so I'm hoping people with experience of the new 2018 or the 2017 model can help out. I weigh between 95 and 100 kgs and use a surfboard and foil board in anything from 12mph to 35+ mph. I currently use North Neos ...

Re: Slingshot line lengths

 slight measuring error on the front lines, they are the same length

Should also have said "get a new set made" rather then me doing it. I'd like to but not sure I'd trust my own handy work. Thanks for How To though :thumb:

Slingshot line lengths

Just measured the lines from my 17"/23m Slingshot bar and lines in order to make a new set and found the rears to be 22.6 m, one front line to be 24m and the other 23.17m.

Does anybody know the lengths of the lines in a Slingshot set?
