Re: Rincon Puerto Rico *Any advice?

I was there in the spring about four years ago.. There was a big swell pumping in Rincon.. actually it was incredibly big. Guys out on guns and very impressive. No wind in that part of the island, although Shacks is on the N-N-W corner and rumor has it its a good location.. again, we didn't get any ...

Re: Homokiteplexia - Are your kites gay ?

LOL.. that's funny.

Q: Does having gay sex make a kite gay?
A: Only if its voluntary..

I'm definitely not getting any wind if I'm reading this stuff and actually posting a reply..

Pray for wind,
Peace

Re: never seen befor idea fast kite turns

Alaska guy, Don't let all this ah...constructive criticism, get you down. I remember back in the 90's seeing some nut trying to water ski in the gorge with a kite. My first thought was, "Jesus Christ! who's this kook!". And now? I'd never bother trying to windsurf. And regarding line wear, safety, r...

Re: 09 16M Rebel - Good light wind surf kite

Peter, that's a personal question! :) about 215 lbs Mike, that was an awesome session.. high winds, semi glassy water, nice rolling waves with the new sand bars... Fred, I've tried one a few years ago.. and a few years previous I used to use the 10.5 Ram Air.. I may be interested in the future if th...

09 16M Rebel - Good light wind surf kite

I thought I'd throw this out there, if your looking for a light wind kite to be used in the surf, the new 09 Rebel 16 works well. I've been flying a Rebel 2007 (16M) and didn't like the 2008 (16M). The 2008 would stall in light wind (although I do fly a 2008 (12M) and 2008 (9M)). But as far as light...

Re: Why use board leashes in waves??

OUCH, I can imagine how that poor bastard feels.. heading down the ER.
Hopefully he had dental and health insurance.

I never wear a leesh, and I've been kiting in reef's 1 mile off shore to very large surf (much bigger surf than I can surf without a kite, but that's a differen't issue.)

Re: Caught on Fishing Lines

Marcy Marcfrm Lighten up dude, ain't nothing gonna happen from a bunch of us kiters talking on a forum. There will be folks out there trying to ban kiting simply becuase they don't want it around. Case in point my local spot. Theres a bunch of rich a-holes that live in an expensive development withi...
