Re: King of the Air 2016 - all info

they had like 4 different cameras. Maybe more. Unfortunately one was a bit too dark. So were they swapping a lot from different camera angles? Heard a lot of talk from the guys without seeing anything. I know its new and a huge space to cover. I wish drones could be steady in that wind, give it 2 y...

Re: Video - Kiter Dragged Through Rocks

First of all yes I have had 2 kitemares. Direct onshore wind, gusting. riding close to shore with obstacles upwind. Obstacles are not 50m downwind and approaching. :?: This is a classic case of complacency with a guy kiting for 1-2 years :?: :?: .Thank any god he's OK. Too close, dont get cocky. tur...

Re: Virgin Kitesurf World Championships becomes World Kite T

WTF.... This is corporate madness at it's best. Kite tours all over the northern hemisphere. "North World Championships" mabe sponsored by "North"???? So lets get some little 5'2-5'6 gyymnasts ride in 12-15 knots of wind and see what they can do? Is it for the masses? This is exactly what happened i...

Lots of glass between front and back foot, otherwise let the board flex with pressure.

Making a directional for light wind waves.

Ive always liked riding PU surfboards but they give out. Epoxy you go shorter yet the stiffness in a hard turn due to no flex gives you little flow unless you are on the perfect board for conditions.

Having fun

Re: Bars with longer depower stroke for surf

GET a surf orientated kite. Surf orientate kites are designed to have much less pull, turn quicker, drift and dont power up with spikes and have gradual depower through the bar. Finesse is so important, the board must follow the kite, yes throwing your arm out so the kite jellyfishes to make ...

Re: Looking for a good used kite to learn kiteloops

Tried lots. Windrange, loops easily, good bar 20m lines, RPM 8-9m. 2010's onwards are pretty cheap. RPM's in these sizes are perfect to learn kiteloops on. Putting it on the free-ride/wave setting on the back-line pigtails and they kiteloop without consequence. When you get them dialled in kiteloop ...
