Re: Alternate choices (cheaper then Speeds) for light wind

Love it. A truly environmentalist maneuver by foilholio! Way to recycle an old but good discussion! And for the record, Ozone has released the XXLite II with a ram air leading edge, and it wouldn’t surprise me if the concept makes it into our water loving world on single skin foils. I’m traveling li...

Re: Caribbean alternative to Cabarete for early February

I'd sure love to read a comparison of El Cuyo and Holbox. Everything from accommodations to restaurants, groceries, kiting restrictions and more. I loved Holbox, but not the need to take an organized boat ride to the kiting location because of the no kiting rule in front of the town. I'm interested ...

Re: Chris Calthrop RIP

He was an inspirational guy, an original thinker and a real individualist. Many of us who were kiting in the early years will miss him. I will think of him when I next fly my Flexifoil Blades.

Re: Pranburi, Thailand

Anyone been to Pranburi recently? I'm heading that way soon and would like to know anything that is necessary (weather, restrictions, hazards etc). I will be there the last week of January.

Thanks,

John

Compatibility question

Hi,

Does anyone recognize this mast with 4 nuts on top and three on the bottom? Maybe it’s compatible with a number of brands.

Thanks for any help.

Re: Slingshot Raptor kite

Some people take themselves way more seriously than most. Often they are the ones who have the longest and most argumentative posts in order to profess their ultimate wisdom. Aside from this character, refer to the supa king of sunglasses for another example. I personally don’t have the attention sp...

Re: Kite Beaches in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) Mexico

I’ve been kiting Puerto Peñasco for 20 years as it’s my “local” beach, about a 3.5 hour drive from my home in Arizona, USA. Most of the beaches on Peñasco are south or southwest facing, and they get great thermal (south) winds from about March through September. They include Sandy Beach, Playa Bonit...
