Another vote for Infexion. Then, discard all the heavy chicken loops on your other bars.
Plus one on that statement. Evans Infexion is a fantastic product.

Re: R1 V4 vs Chrono V4

Have not flown the R1V4 but own a Chrono V4 11. Easilly the best kite I have ever flown when it comes to handling vs. performance. I would rule out the R1 due to short life expectancy and delicate construction.

Re: Allowing for line shrink over the bury in a lock splice

- Sorry, Herman wrote pretty much what I wrote but was faster to klick submit. - I add % of the bury lenght. If you have spare line make a test run and see what you loose from expansion using your specific method. A work around I use when doing a full line set is that I stretch all 4 lines next to e...

Re: Liewe shotgun vs Ozone torque

90kgs, primarily on Enduro V3 9 & 12m. Kiting since 2004, freeride & jumping. I have the Shotgun in 136/40,5 and Torque V2 in 138/42. They ride not so differently. Where they do differ is pretty much what can be expected when looking at them and reading the spec. The Shotgun is a little more rounded...

Re: Moses/SABfoil W82 mast repair core question

I would say that repair by simply working on the crack with epoxy has a very low chance of success. A crack like that deserves a comment or input from Moses/SABFoil in terms of root cause and warranty. But... the leading edge seems (incredibly) worn and the laminate on the sides looks strange with w...

Re: how to add camber adjusters to any foil kite

Tom Tom the only point of the heat shrink is to keep it sightly neater correct? As you tighten this loop you will have a slack loop show up near the figure 8? I don't think I'll use shrink on it. I have another kite to tune and definitely want to use the splice loop system for it. Is this system on...

Re: how to add camber adjusters to any foil kite

The "cover" is standard heat-shrink tubing covering a fig-8 knot at the end of the line. The knot under the shrink-tube adds some friction to keep the loose end from sliding and possibly starting to loosen the friction lock. I made the splice-lock length 10cm which is a bit more than what Ozone use,...

Re: how to add camber adjusters to any foil kite

For those with interest in tinkering a bit more, a neat solution is the tail-bury lock used on the latest Ozone race kites, they call it the Splice trim system. The upper mixer parts attaching to the A, B & C-bridles have an adjustable-length loop at the upper end. The loop length is friction locked...
