Re: Looking for Spreader Bar Alternatives - anyone knows?

this means it also will have less wear, since the pressure is less on it. Currently mine break often... But not easy to get this NP one...anyone knows a shop that has it in stock? Actually if you get an s-bar with a 3-point buckle like the one from Brunotti or Dakine, you can also double back the s...

Re: Looking for Spreader Bar Alternatives - anyone knows?

If it’s a single strap design, check out NPSurf’s EZ s-bar... https://www.npsurf.com/products/s1-kite-ez-set Thank you. Yes, looks good ! One of the perks with the NP s-bar is it allows for double backing the straps much like a Ladder Lock Buckle. You can see the two slots vs. one like on the other...

Re: Looking for Spreader Bar Alternatives - anyone knows?

I found this...looks also good Several brands offer 3-point s-bars like this Mystic above. As you have obviously concluded, you can just use the wide slots. Check out Ion, Manera, Brunotti, and Dakine for some more options. I personally like the Mystic Clickerbar 4.0 locking system over the other b...

Re: Duotone Neo Line Length

Thanks for the info. I assumed a 12 would come with the larger 46/53 bar, but I received a 42/49. That's a bummer that you got it with the S/M bar. The seller should have known better. Just set the bar to the widest setting and then get their (a) 19m line-set. Or hack your lines down to 19m and get...

Duotone does offer a 19m line-set. Put that on a M/L Trust bar or M Click bar and you'll get the FASTEST turning (stock) set-up! :thumb:
I should mention to set the Trust bar at the widest setting to maximize the turning reaction of the kite...

Re: Repairing/replacing a leaky valve

The problem for me is that the base of the valve is glued from inside the bladded. I dont really know how to fix it and i dont want to damage it more. Any ideas? Your easiest option is to simply cut it out. FixMyKite has the perfect replacement valve for your needs. It's called the MEGA 11mm Deflat...

Re: Duotone Neo Line Length

Duotone recommends the 22m lines since the kite is a 12m. Generally kites 12m+ will benefit from slightly longer lines, but what really counts is your personal preference. Duotone does offer a 19m line-set. Put that on a M/L Trust bar or M Click bar and you'll get the FASTEST turning (stock) set-up!...

Re: What will be the next big advance in equipment?

I remember watching a Don Montague interview when he was Naish's designer a while back. He said the next big thing would be super strong and light materials that could be pumped rock hard. So the kite would be stiffer, and the leading edge could be thinner and have a more aerodynamic shape to it. I...
