Re: The first company to produce a quality QR for those who never unhook ...

Cab’s new Modular system is another concept that could eventually be designed to just click into a spreader bar directly... no hook & no loop!

But.... the click bars are readily available for $300.00, all you have to do is google.
I even tried this... https://lmgtfy.com
There are NO Click bars for $300. The lowest price is $421 with a CL Kit for a 2019 model. You must be on another planet.

Re: Impact vest kitesurf wakeboard

Kiteboarding impact vests are NOT rated for CGA Type3 floatation. Wakeboarding vests required for use behind a boat are rated CGA Type3. Wakeboarding impact vests used for competition and cable parks are the exact same as a kiteboard impact vest and are NOT rated nor is it required. The bigger deter...

Re: Which is better for heavy weight rider Evo or Rebel ?

I know some 225lbs+ individuals that learned on the Evo kites and some who ride them exclusively. I would be more focused on the intended riding type and/or riding level vs. the weight of the individual. Some will argue that a 5-strut would be better suited for heavier riders and I would have agreed...

Re: Buying new twintip in US - from Spleene to Flysurfer?

My US Flysurfer dealer is amazing and has fueled my addiction since my first year on water. Timely, precise, knowledgeable, reliable, not greedy, has parts and is true kite addict - exactly what I need from a dealer. I've heard dealers east of the Mississippi have had good experiences with Flysurfe...

Re: Buying new twintip in US - from Spleene to Flysurfer?

Any thoughts and comments on the board? Any other board you'd consider a better option and why? Since you're located in the US, I'd look at brands and boards that are well distributed here and have a distributer and/or rep that knows what it takes to run an effective business. From demos, to parts,...

Re: Slingshot Sentinel bar for use with other brands of kite?

The kite is a Best Waroo. Cheers. What year Waroo? 2012 and older models were designed for a mini-5th system (2-line flagging). It doesn't mean that it won't work with a modern single line system, but depending on the bridle design, it could result into looping when released. 2013 and on the Best k...

Re: Slingshot Sentinel bar for use with other brands of kite?

The Sentinel will work on most 4 line kites, and as far as i am aware, its only Fone that has the two line safety flag out system on their bar and lines. F-One (Monolith) and RRD (Global v7) were the last two brands that had a mini-5th system. Since 2018 every major brand's c-bar is a single-line s...

Re: Surfshades like sunglass lanyard?

Surf shades used to sell a lanyard that zip-tied onto glasses then went down to a loop around your neck - that had a plastic snap that was also a safety release (if you really snagged them it would pull open). Does anyone know of another brand that has a similar attachment system - or does anyone k...

The QR was only used by Liquid Force for some years. I think they developed it.
I think you're right about LF developing the CL.
I actually believe LF may have traded their MC CL design for access to OR's Shift bar. When the Shift 2.0 came out it was spec'ed with LF's CL.
