SUPsurfing gear being merged with kiteboarding is totally fake. You might as well put a SUP paddle in the guys hands! What do you think will allow the highest boosts... a Quickblade or Kialoa? :lol:

Anyway, just wondering what non cumbersome pfd any of you may be wearing on the water. I wear a lightwave impact vest which offers some flotation and crash protection. There are three choices and one of them you already own... Choice 1 = PFDs that meet the Coast Guard standard of a TypeIII at 15.5l...

What is required is a QR that can be released with one handed push away (the de facto standard) but, critically, can also be re-engaged one handed. I recall Globe Kites (Mat Pendle) having something like this back in 2011...
