Re: Cabrinha Warranty Flaws

KOW mentioned Cabrinha would deal with it. I have emails from Cabrinha confirming they would deal with it. But they respond the emails once in a blue moon ( which in this case is twice in 4 months since December 2023). I should have asked. 1) You contacted them through their "contact us" link, whic...

Re: Cabrinha Warranty Flaws

Cabrinha has given me ridiculous lip service when trying to get a warranty claim processed. Cabrinha please get your act together. I was avoiding chiming in, but I’m shocked at the disconnect from reality, so now I’m giving my 2¢. I think you need to get your act together. Everyone here has told yo...

Re: Replacement grab handle & compatibility

I must say, after seeing latest boards, I can’t believe that in 2024 with Boardoffs being a hot thing the handles are still unbelievable bad! Flat and thin, so bad to hold! So far the North seems best. All other companies need to step up, it’s not that expensive ! Your customers will be happy ! JMo...

Re: Replacement grab handle & compatibility

The FOne handle is quite a bit wider than most other boards. It won't fit a Cabrinha unfortunately. It also isn't the strongest as I've broken a couple of them as well. Really nice in the hand and great for boards off though. The North one is quite good. Good to know. Thanks 🙏 The US F-one distribu...

Re: Replacement grab handle & compatibility

F-One has a nice handle. It looks like the bolt holes are slotted so they can micro adjust for different insert widths. You’ll need to confirm this and the adjustment range. I’m just speculating.

Why is it so risky when there are at least ten 18m foil kite models on the market and zero LEI kites above 17?
The Ozone Edge is available in a 19m size

Re: Duotone boots on north 2021 board

Yes. Industry standard for kiteboards and wakeboards is 6"/150mm insert spacing. Core/Carved and Shinn are the known oddballs. Something to consider is boot fit. I'm assuming you tried on a few. It's critical to buy the fit, not the brand. Several brands make boots including wakeboard companies that...

Re: Flysurfer Stage 159x45

Also, if you know of any other low wind twin tip kiteboards worth considering, I'm keen to hear your suggestions! Thanks in advance I’m more partial to LW boards that incorporate an hourglass/sidecut profile on the rail much like a ski/snowboard vs the straight rail boards. Duotone, F-One, Litewave...

Re: Carved Imperator 7 vs 2023 Duotone Jamie SLS

The Crazyfly Elite IV might world be worth checking out. From the details it kind of blurs the lines between the Imperator and Jaime. It has more flex than the Imperator. It's probably more like the Jaime. Maybe someone can chime in with some feedback. Crazyfly claims it's the lightest board in the ...
