Re: Is zeeko blaster foil a flop?

Thanks for sharing the stringfellow aftermarket option. I don’t think I would put that on the Zeeko carbon fuse. Too much area for carbon 2 part fuselage if you ride a lot over time.

Re: Is zeeko blaster foil a flop?

I have the blaster as a back up to my mainfoil which is the Zeeko carbon with carver wing. I used the blaster for a few weeks and found it to be solid. Fairly fast, which surprised me. turns well and the wing grooves do work for stall prevention. I have a friend who learnt quickly on his blaster. So...

Re: Cloud9 foil feedback

I ride the Zeeko carbon with carver wing mostly on a mini pocket board. Love this set up for blasting around. Super fast and efficient. I am old and not so nimble so looking for alternative surf wing to help me stay on a wave and a platform to assist with lift thru transitions.

Cloud9 foil feedback

Looking for a bigger surf hydrofoil. One that I can kite with and possibly surf wakesurf. I was considering cloud9. They have a foil wing for heavy weight and one for lightweight that may be good for kiting. Realkiteboarding has a review that says they are good for kiting. Any riders out there with ...

Re: Cloud vs Reo.

Have you tried the Naish Boxer? I have 10, 8 and 6. I will likely stay with more struts below 6m. Seems a good compromise between surf kite and strutless. Luffstrut and a few battens There are so many strutless and onestruts and threestruts light and fast turning LEI kites available today (everywher...

Re: “Light” wind tubes

I have FRS 9 and fly it back to back with Soul 8 many times. FRS had little little maybe 5% less power than Soul but for sure is much stronger than same size LEI. If your 12 FRS is as strong as 10m boxer - something is wrong. The whole the reason I have replied here is there is something wrong. It ...

Re: “Light” wind tubes

@Rolavi2 : A bit out of tube topic but If you are talking about kitech frs, i think it is a pleasant and easy kite but not efficient in very kight wind as it lacks of power in the loop. It turns like a 9m foilkite but also it pulls like a 9m foilkite. You can try to increase a bit its camber (Short...

Re: “Light” wind tubes

I am 91 kg. I find my 12m kitetech to be not enough juice over 10m boxer. Might be my skills.

Re: “Light” wind tubes

I really like my Naish Boxers. 10m, 8m and 6m. My 10m gets me going really good in 10 mph winds. I have a kitetech 12m foil kite that was a little disappointing. Maybe my skills but didn’t seem to get me going much more than my 10m boxer. Should I consider a 12m hyperlink?
