Best of both worlds is LIQUID ICE = 5 cm water depth. If it´s that shallow, no waves can build up and you can choose each angle you want. "Poorest guy" in this aspect is Lorenzo. Seems as if these welded seams don´t have as much effect as promised :-?

I just noticed in the live stream of Lords of Tram that the competitors - when they load up power and pick up speed before they jump - always have this slight whobbeling and deforming in their kites. Whereas my kite - which is 75 % stiffer - almost doesn´t do this at all. I think this is one of thes...

I think it´s the combination of all factors together - for me it´s impossible to value how much effect each factor has.

On the 5m you've modified , could you confirm me you've modified the profile (to avoid deformation above the leading edge tube) ? by doing sewings ? . At 50 PSI the front tube is getting longer. So it became longer than the corresponding part of the sail, which put way too much tension on the sail....
