You name it, from hip hop to classical, to classic rock. I've been diggin Lyric's Born's latest, and I have some Aesop Rock queue'd up for when I get home. I still have Mark Farina's Mushroom Jazz vol.5 in my car( been playing it for months now, never gets old ). Right this instant I'm listening to ...

Probabilities are fun and all but even the remote chance of ending up a snack is still chilly.

Quick question from a land locked Canadian, do shark repellants actually work?

Yup, I posted there to see if there are any kiters near me, there are some a few hours drive from here. I'll keep practicing with the trainer until I can meet up with them and learn some more.

Its winter 10 months of the year where I live. In my back yard I have a 4 mile x 2 mile field with close to a foot and a half of very nice fluffy snow. I intend to snow kite for a while before I set foot in water.

Thanks,

I don't live anywhere near a kite school. The nearest one I could find was an 11 hour drive from here. I'm pretty much on my own.

Trainer Arrived ... What Now?

My gear arrived ( after a thorough man handling at the border ) from Best ( you's guy's rock! ). I have the trainer kite, I've even taken it out flying for 3 hours. Now the only question I have is: What should I be practising? Mostly I have been making sine wavy patterns across the wind window, and ...

I have a collection of snowboards, an old thrashed burton custom ( my main gravel road board ), my brand new Forum ( Only to be used on mountains covered in fluffy powder ), and my cheap chunky Burton clash that I use for everything else. I think I'm going to pick up an Ozone Frenzy from Escape in S...
