Re: ocean rodeo mako vs. nobile 666 opinions please

I totally agree, these are two completly different boards, made for totally different things. The 666, is a great board for someone how digs freestyle, is a little bit bigger (190-215) or keeps breaking there north Jamie's. It cuts nice, has lots of pop, but really does not do so well in the chop. T...

Re: ocean rodeo mako wide - anyone bought one yet?

Good in the surf, good in the chop, good at high speeds, and good light wind performance. I liked the mako wide quite a bit more than the regular for the light wind/wave performance. You will NOT be disapointed with this board!! :naughty: From the banks of the Yukon River....

The mako is a upwind junkie. Stiff, direct and the most impressive toeside mongral ive ever riden. Ive only used the 150cm, getting used to it is a bit tricky but its worth it once your dialed in! Waves were nice and sticky to slash and the chop? What chop? haha Like chiro said, the pop is not huge ...

Ocean Rodeo 2007 nine meter one

Hey, just a little note on the 2007 OR one 9m. I am 180lbs, middle of the road rider (still learning) and have recently purchased a 9m one. The wind for me,(the sweet spot on this kite for my weight) is 25-35 knot. I also own a 12m one that I use basically for everything but the most extream wind. T...

I ride with a fith line and when I let go of the bar I just walk back up the fifth line to my bar, pull the line back threw and relaunch no problem. Also what is the best way to...
