Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

If i need to set the kite up for a deep water elaunch, I usually dont bother with winding up the lines. I just swim to the kite, set it up with leading edge up, swin back and launch. Very quick and reliable. I get very frustrated with doubleskin kites now if i need to swim them in or water reset th...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Once I was out with a Peak4 5m2 and the wind died to 0 knots. No chance to relaunch with no matter which kite. I winded the lines to the bar and by the time I came to the kite (2 minutes top), the whole kite was 3m bellow the surface. Still no drama, i was able to roll it anyway and swim out. But I ...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

When I crash my Peaks it’s because I’m fucking around and always ends up with slack lines which instantly sinks the kite. No chance to catch a edge or whatnot to relaunch. And really, I just put my foil on it’s side which usually keeps it in place, attach my bar to it, and swim to the kite to reset...

Re: making a shorter fuse?

Hi Merl, I have the exact same setup and I find it very maneuverable and lively. Much more loose than a couple of Moses 633 wings with original stabs (dont know which ones) that I tried. Anyway, you can shorten this fuselage if you have some basic metal working skills. Cut it of and make a new bed f...

my favorite wing at this moment, very low ar
a bit lower slow speed but super stable pitch in the waves, actually because wingspan 47cm only it's so easy to turn, easy to jump
Interesting! Could you share some more details, dimensions, photos from side and bottom? Thanks!
