Re: Lovin my TT in the waves.

Check out what Corey Brown used to do on a TT in waves. Directionals are and wave specific TTs are brilliant to ride and watch when used in their intended conditions.

Re: Airush Varial X

The Razor is indeed better for wakestyle, but if the VarialX is more than sufficient for 99% of the riders, it would be nice having the extra range, depower and easier relaunch. (Like the RPM and the Fuel) true. The forum is back up and so here is the direct link to the section I referred too. http...

Re: Airush Varial X

Any comments on the Varial X's freestyle/wakestyle capabilities? I'm finding loads of reviews and vids of it's performance in waves and jumping, but none about freestyle. Would love to hear from some wake or freestyler that rode this kite himself. (Unhooked, slack lines, pop, loops, trimming, bar p...

Re: Surfboard riders...Whats your biggest Kite?

Here's a re-post shot of wave riding in light wind. Wind avg was 15 mph from NW(a few degrees less of side-on) with a descent swell. Notice how nice the surface conditions can be when it's this light. :D Rider: Joe Petitfils Photo taken by Juan Carlos Manosalvas Sorry to say, but judging from that ...

Re: Surfboard riders...... Whats your biggest Kite???

Hello Surfboard riders, Just curious to know what your biggest kites are ? At the moment my biggest is a 9m & (5'8 fish ). Do I need bigger kite? or a bigger board ?, But if you could post your biggest kite size would be great....... Kitesafe and goodwinds. 7m with a Stretch Trow directional. Not a...

Re: Airush Varial X

I had a chance to try a few different 2012 Airush kites today: 10m Lithium, 10m Varial X, and 9m Razor. Winds were 15-24mph, averaging around 19 or 20.. I was mainly riding a 5'4 Airush Compact Surfboard, and then pulled out a Best 134 twin tip for a bit too. I weigh 170lbs. Overall, all three kite...

Re: Airush Varial X

Thanks guys. I will go with Razor then. I kind of skipped the Vapor X because of the bridle. All my Vapors are set up on five lines in my own way. I can see in that video that the Razor has that float in the jumps, perfect. Depending on your weight and conditions you may get away with 5.5, 7 and 9m...

Re: Airush Varial X

I didn't try it but it is bad news for me. I had Vapor I and still have II and III and those were the best kites on the market for what I want to do. I knew this day would come. The vapors were not selling well so they bastardized them. I don't blame Airush just the stupid trends. My favorite is 10...

Re: Airush forum?

is airush forum dead? forever? http://www.airush.com/forum/ or there is new unknown to me address for it? Probably have given up on trying to manage the forum. They had a lot of issues with spam so did not make the forum worthwhile. If you are on facebook then that is probably the best place to int...

Re: Airush 2012

Lifted from my post on the UK kiteboarder forum abou the 2012 Razor :cool2: I have been lucky enough to try the 2012 7m Razor. Where to start… well when you pump it up you notice just how good the build is and there is some fantastic attention to detail including a dump valve at the wingtip to help...
