Re: Moses 2019-2020

Does anyone know anything about the Moses T35 board that is highlighted in the 2020 catalog? https://moseshydrofoil.com/storage/downloads/moses_2020_brochure_rev01.pdf I'm curious if it is replacing the T22 which I did not see in the catalog. I hope to be getting a 633 setup in the next few months a...

Re: Foil beginners, Never-Ever do this.......

RH, to me your your recommendation for strapless or cut off foot hooks make total sense for the safest options. I picked up a set of predator hooks a while back and am thinking that cutting them down for learning is the way to go. Do you or anyone out there have any experience using the predators an...

Re: 12m Rise v.s. 13m Waroo

I currently have a 2008 9m waroo and a 2006 12m waroo. My 12m waroo is the kite I ride 70% of the time in the SF bay area and I am looking to replace it this year. I weigh 205lbs. I don't want to loose any top or bottom end from what my 2006 12m provided. I tried the 2008 11m waroo and really like t...

Re: Sliding Spreader Bar

What you want to get is the Dakine Sliding spreader bar retrofit kit. See attached link. I use it with my seat harness and it makes toeside riding so much better.

Re: Helmets - Which is best?

I finally found a helmet that is comfortable. It is the Mystic Razor Helmet. By using tons of different pads it comes with it can be custom fit to your specific head size. As an added bonus it looks better than my old protec. I got mine at live2kite.com

Re: ALL Board Leashes are not Evil!

Please learn from others experiences. I did not. Three years ago I was at the end of my first year kiting and using a reel leash. I did a small jump, board came off in the air, I shoot down wind, board followed behind, I hit water first and board flew into the back of my head. If it had not had a he...

About how much is does a Prisoner Quad Skull cost? If you want a faster board that is hand shaped and custom built, get a 5'6" Prisoner of Wind Quad Skull out of San Francisco. The board is as fast as my twin tip, super fast, and has the low end of a skim board as well. I can jump it as high as my T...

Plywood Skim Board - Baltic Birch-Exterior Glue

I am getting ready to build a ply skim board. In searching on this forum it seems like the most used ply is Baltic Birch. I have search around my area (SF Bay) and it seems that the Baltic Birch I can find is not made with an exerior glue. I would not think that it would be a great idea to have a pl...

SS Glide in chop?

I can recomend two boards, although I have a strong preference for one of them. The first is the Underground FLX 152. It used to be 42 cm wide, but Underground will now produce it in 44 cm width. This board has a lot of flex, which comes in very handy in choppy conditions. The other low-wind weapon...
