A few years back took a 12 mt mastair and 9mt psycho 1, board and harness and travel l bag to India....14 KG all in...and these kites were not the lightestfoils by any means

the top two photos from stephz are psycho 3's......still have 13, 10 and 8 - but ride mainly now my speed 4 lotus 10 and fuels for high wind. I think the soul seems a go to kite though

Compare with downhill MTB - lots of minor injuries - breakages - not too many fatalities.....Kitesurfing not many minor injuries - but when it goes wrong game over

That's the beauty of Kitesurfing....You can ride how you want on what you want. Inspiring Vid - will have to did out my Jamie pro...though at 126 may still be a bit big

I would expect at about 10 mt - but would most likely cover a wind range from 8 - 10 mt.

take kite down at 90 deg as when you do an assisted landing then backstall whilst moving - into wind - much softer - practice in light winds

If you are perpendicular to the kite - you can gently raise the downwind tip....you can control the inflation ....you can then move more ito wind and the kite will inflate faster and lift off. I sometime sit down in high winds then to control downwind drag Ensure the upwind tip is well sanded. I alw...

That last one was nuts - catching the updraft and hanging there......

18 years of Leis........It took me 13 years to buy my first inflateable........and tehn I only use them when it's very windy
