Re: Drying Kites in Rainy Conditions

I unpack a drenched/wet kite, dry it over with a towel and then leave in a heated room over 2-3 days and move it around each day... usually works fine... but Reedins in white/red need careful drying to avoid pink stripes !!!

Re: Kiteboarding apps for Garmin watches

Quick question, if you become detached from your board, the link appears to drop out - i.e Woo is still in record mode, but the red light on the watch screen goes into standby/non-recording mode - Aleks - how should you reset this? Many thanks & well done on great work !!

Re: Moses Bolt Torque?

I use one of these ( https://www.prestacycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/77107_Torque7.jpg @ 7nm and usually then feel whether it feels tight enough - these keys are designed for tightening carbon bike stems, so I figured they"should" be ok - ie tightening enough/without overtightening & causing ...

Re: Carbon Fibre Fins

I have G10s & full carbon fins on my mutants (including my Nomad custom - all Tarifa Fin Co) & although the rear fins are large, there is very little noticeable difference. I have some Futures carbon/glass/hex cell foam fins & there is “some” twist, but not much. The carbon does look nice, but the c...

Re: How to dislocate and bruise ribs with a harness?

Twist isn't the issue - its the thickness of the spreader/buckle & proximity to rib cage. The Ride looks a very similar size to the Stealth Carbon - so I would avoid.
