Re: What HD Waterprof Camera is better?

A high quality wide angle lens to really capture the full point of view experience is just as important as the camera. That HeroHD looks like it comes with a decent wide angle. I built a fisheye almost 180 lens to see if I liked the fisheye look, then decided to get the Royal Lens 0.2 170 degree sky...

Kitepower, I appreciate what you say about the history of IKO as a legitimate organization with a sincere effort to create an improvement process. I plan to attend an IKO course mainly for the insurance. It's a great incentive, and at the very least, I'll learn what their method of instruction is. I...

Ultimate Bow board: No rocker (except for scoop ends), no fins, (this one is arex core, bamboo veneer, glass, epoxy lamination) The concave bottom section intersects the scoop at the corners creating a fin like shape at each corner, although it's flat enough to ride up the beach shorebreak like a sk...

supposedly there's a geology study of 10,000 year old strata in California that indicates evidence of a 100 year drought. if we had even a 10 year drought now a days, some people would have kiniptions, say it was the end of the world, global warming, what ever and use public hysteria and ignorance t...

Hi, I have 4 pulleys on the Speed 17 atm and have been using kites with pulleys for 3 years. Ronstan 20101 pulleys are a good replacement however, micro kite pulleys are lighter, only 5g. Dry spray lube will extend the life of your micro pulleys and prevent chaffing of the lines. I use Team McLube S...

the wave-sail boards are good for converting. remove all the sailing harware, put a smaller fin on the back, install a couple kitesurf fins about 1/3 of the board's length from the tail. move the straps forward. Balance the board so that when you hold the front straps, the nose will pitch up. You do...

I dont think the Speed 17 is recommended for beginners or even as a first foil for experienced riders. VERY happy with the Speed 17, riding a 143cm no rocker board in 10kts no problem, AND surfing little waves. 235lbs (loosing weight now though) Although the large Speed is 17m2 area, it has a low AR...

Re: Ten Ideas For Safer Kiteboarding

7. KEEP YOUR KITE LOW TO AVOID LOFTING AND GET OFFSHORE RAPIDLY. Do not stay on the beach or near hard objects with a kite in the air. Never jump onshore unless you are up for some broken bones one of these days. Frequently mentally and physically rehearse dealing with strong gusts and dragging con...
