NAISH 2019, GONG 2018-2019 and AIRUSH 2019 should have these dimensions:

Re: An object in a fluid

We started off with a conceptual cube, and will be moving to a conceptual triangle. I would appreciate you relating the influence of the edge for a moving cylinder : - a cylinder with round front edge = modern submarines - a cylinder with sharp front edge = a kitefoil fuselage - impact of von karma...

Another fast candidate, easy to route because flat underneath (intrados) : Aquila9.3 smoothed and x0.8 = Aquila7.4 Airfoiltools.com allow to slim airfoil sections down using the "Airfoil plotter" menu on the left. http://airfoiltools.com/airfoil/details?airfoil=aquilasm-il Aquila9.3 and 7.4 smoothed...

Re: Plywood surf foil wing

Hey @Jyoder I've read you have 1"thickness / 9"chord [Edit] = 11% thickness to chord ratio (TR) 1 - What is you airfoil section ? 2 - What is you top speed with this plywood wing ? 3 - Do you think 0.88 inch thick ensuring 8% TR would have been possible with good stiffness ?? (0.88" thick /9" chord ...

Re: Is it just me or does pumping a foil...

I'm sure there will be innovations, maybe a hinged wing or something that gives a force multiplier or something. I read somewhere that http://zfins.eu from Estonia have just released a front wing with a flexible trailing edge. Targeted for racing where this feature allows higher speeds. Curious if ...

Re: How thick is your wing?

But some says that the "Surf/SUP" wings especially, are often really thick, but HOW thick? Could some measure theirs so we get an idea of thickness? Meaning, how thick is the wing 2-3 inch from the center, and what is the chord at this point? This ratio will give you the wing thickness in percent. ...

Re: The F-One wing

Small wingspan = small surface areas = low investment (TPU, spi, dacron).
IMHO, for DiYers, a reasonable level of difficulty before starting the construction of a kitesurf wing.

Masts : (...) the mounting holes do not run through the full-length, so not easy to cut down.
How did you guess that ? A screwdriver in the screw hole ?
