Re: 2019 Cabrinha Drifter Bar Pressure

I don't find Drifters have high bar pressure at all , that said i always ride mines in off shore settings no matter the conditions i really see a big diference in upwind ability and depower , the kite rides closer to the edge of the wind window .. Also own Ozone Reos V3 in few sizes and found to hav...

Re: Attachment point on board deck

Webbing? Flat webbing or tubular webbing is waaaaay too strong for this application, and simply will not release until something breaks or worse. That product is designed to break away at a threshold before anything bad happens.... Let me desagree , but that product at that price, it will surely be...

Re: Attachment point on board deck

Do not use a leash ,
But if you do ,save your money on gimmicks ...do it oldschool , grab a piece of webbing from anywhere and drill the screw holes with a soldering iron....done!

Re: How Strong are Kite-Wave-Boards?

Get a JIMMY LEWIS , only maker in the industry making real PVC sándwiched kitesurfboards....
Glass layers over glass layers with carbón stripes are not proper sándwich construction , not even wood or bamboo veneers inside layers are proper sándwich construction ....there are reducing costs formulas...

Re: What's up with Naish directionals?

Mmmm, i would ask what's happening with directionals in general instead..... And the answer is simple : The trend is strapless freestyle . They make and sell boards all similar with thruster setup , skinny tails and short lengths .... With a centre rear fin and a narrow tail it's easier to stall the...

Re: Duotone surfboard fins

Same fin box as Cabrinha ,IMO they do this for : 1. Reduce costs of an original finbox from Futures / FCS2 2. Easier and cheaper board Construction/ laminating 3. Get rid of customers claims about fin/box lateral tolerances when using cheap futures finbox copys ...two lateral screws get fins tight a...

Re: 13m contra instead of 12m switchblade

I'd rather go with with Moto 14m instead of 13m Contra or 14m switchblade... It's a much more dinamic and sporty kite than the other two.... That said , IMO it only have a touch more low end than a Switchblade 12m , not a big diference.... In the other hand Switchblade 12m it's a sweet size in the r...

Re: Back Roll Advice needed

Concentrate on divide the maneuver in two parts to understand what your kite it's doing above your head instead of trying to make the full rotation without control : 1. Ride upwind powered ,kite at 2 o' clock ,look for a kicker of chop to help you launch, concentrate/feel whats your forward hand in ...

Re: Ozone Enduro - user opinions

I have some Cats before the enduro introduction, the only problem is with foiling. They are not great at the low end and prone to stall (10m especially), the lightweight ozone construction does not make them outperform other brands like cabrinha/naish/LF with foil boards So true !, riding Ozone fro...
